I've just been reading Gregor Lersch's latest blog about the use of cut glued flowers in design versus flowers in water/foam (eg giving the flowers a water source. He debates that we should aim to give flowers a moisture source for longevity. I have also witnessed first hand that some young florists glue flowers even though a moisture source was available but what do you think? Ignoring specialist cases like bridal flowers - what about other designs? Do we not have a duty of care?
